Born from Jinjé’s passion for live drumming and global rhythms, A Brief Utopia is a vibrant, high-energy live project. The ensemble—featuring Danny Templeman (Submotion Orchestra), Nathan Moseley, Gustavo Andrade, Caroline Webb, and Otis Jones—delivers an immersive, colorful experience. Anchored by live percussion, modular synths, and instruments like the Balafon, their music draws inspiration from Fela Kuti, Steve Reich, and global field recordings.

Recent highlights include a live session at FeelGoodStudios and the release of the LP We Invisible, combining Moroccan frame drums, distorted marimbas, and field recordings with uplifting rhythms and psychedelic synth work.
