Kolinga
After 4 years of existence, one album: Earthquake and nearly 150 concerts in duet, Kolinga separates from the loopers to give their music another dimension by integrating new musicians. From French to English, including Lingala, a Congo language cherished by singer Rébecca M’Boungou, their songs, drawing inspiration in the roots of “Black Music”, become more intense and generous. With her, Arnaud Estor on guitar, Jérôme Martineau-Ricotti on drums, Nico Martin on bass, Jérémie Poirier-Quinot on keyboards, choirs and flute and finally Vianney Desplantes with euphonium and flugabone, are all distant musical personalities who actually trust to the same language, the one of feeling the music which invites us to a singular journey, but also to groove, heady trance and anchored rhythms.
