In partnership with Johnnie Walker – the Journey and Submerge.In, we’re sending Dutch phenomenons Broken Brass Ensemble to Banglahore as part of our new project DOS India.

‘Johnnie Walker The Journey’ is the festival of inspiration. This year ‘The Journey’ brings you a music festival like no other. Every note and every beat you’ll experience here is envisioned to encourage you to keep walking in your quest for personal success. Broken Brass Ensemble is coming together to bring you a truly inspirational music experience.

Combining the powers of funk, jazz, hip-hop and soul, Broken Brass Ensemble act as urban brass ambassadors, pioneering on their euphoric groove. The band have an innate ability to orchestrate a nostalgic New Orleans hot jazz sound, incorporating weird, wonderful and peculiar melodies, in fabulous superhero fashion, with their proven method in creating heroic melodies.

This will be the bands first time in India, and we’re sure they’ll be very warmly received.

This special one of show builds on our tour 2017 tour Immigrant Live, with Akala and DJ Cheeba flying out to India. While in the country, they ran several workshops as well as performing live in venues around the country. We also had the privilege of sending Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, The Mouse Outfit and Krafty Kuts to VH1 Supersonic in Delhi. With the Mouse Outfit appearing at special preview shows in the city.
